We took the Dover-Calais ferry across to go to France this summer and we decided to stay one night in Dover to go and explore the famous White cliffs! The town itself is a bit boring to be honest, but the chalk cliffs makes it all worth it! The road trip begins... We stayed at a hostel in Dover and it was pretty convenient because the ferry was literally 2 minutes from there + the downstairs area was a pub! quotes from the hostel... We went to a pub and had fun reading all the swimmers records crossing the channel...CRAZY people! Random fact... more people have climbed Mount Everest than have crossed the English channel. Thank you my lovely husband for driving around for an hour so we could take a picture of this hilarious sign!!! ... and we were off to take the ferry across to PARIS, la ville lumière!
