Our trip to Indonesia was an amazing experience!!! (Cant wait to share some of the underwater world pictures I took with you guys!) We were dreading the temperature shock coming back to the UK, but we were welcomed by a mild sunny spring. I thought I would go for a walk around my neighborhood and snap some pictures of the beautiful spring bloom and share it with you! Spécialement vous les Montréalais qui avez un hiver sans fin. Tenez bon! Le printemps s'en vient!

Some people were curious to know how does fall looks like here in England. Quebec is such a beautiful place in fall. All the trees gets colourful and I certainly missed the Montreal crisps autumn days. The good thing here in the UK is that it doesn't get super depressing drastically in November. The grass is still very green, some roses are still out and most trees keep their leaves. It got cooler, but I guess it is nothing compared to the snowy Montreal I see on my friends Facebook pictures. Here is a little collage of the past week here in Colchester. Go and check out my October collage... I will try to make one every month... 1. one of our favorite pub in town.

The rose that we planted is growing... 9. rose tree!!! Last weekend, the temperature was still pretty mild, so we decided to hop on our bikes and headed towards The jam factory in Tiptree, because...I mean... why not? The bike ride was idyllic. There was green fields all around us. We still have a hard time believing that we came from such a big city; Montreal to live in the english countryside. Great lunch at Tiptree tea room! After a great meal and after buying half of the jam shop, we jumped back on our bikes and in the middle of nowhere.... look at what we found ............. TADAAAAAAAMMMM! Isin't it the pinkiest pink house you have ever seen in your LIFE!!!!!!!!
It is a bed a breakfast and you can also rent the hole place for a group. Go and check out this link to see the inside of the house. Yes... you've guessed it it is as pink on the inside than the outside... |
